Carpenter Estates is located in the fertile Waghi valley of the Western Highlands and Jiwaka Province of Papua New Guinea. It is the countries largest single origin coffee and tea exporter, engaged in the entire value chain of growing, processing and exporting directly worldwide.

Our Coffee and Tea grows at an elevation of 5000 feet, where the ideal weather conditions allow us to produce excellent quality of Coffee and Tea. Next to each other, these plantations set up during the 1950s rapidly gained a reputation that has kept on developing with Sigri™, our flagship brand for Coffee, being globally recognized as a gourmet coffee amongst the world’s best for many decades. NN1™ is our national brand for Tea which is grown without the use of any pesticides or fungicides and holds 90% of local market shares.

Our Cocoa plantation is located in Gunanur , in the coastal belt of East New Britain province of Papua New Guinea, an area that is well suited for cocoa. Our cocoa variety of Trinitario is widely known as the world’s finest and natural hybrid biological class (a cross-fertilisation of Criollo and Forastero) and well recognized for its fine; fruity and floral flavour with a good basal cocoa flavour.

The history of our Coconut Plantation began in 1952 and is located in Rabaul, East New Britain Province of Papua New Guinea. With the years of replanting exercise, we now have a majority of high yielding hybrid trees. Our production facility at the waterfront of Madang Harbour enables us to operate with optimum value chain capabilities.
